As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has gathered data on the performance of the top 5 horror games on the Android platform in the United States. Here's a look at how these spine-chilling apps fared.

Mystery Matters by Playrix saw a downtrend in both downloads and weekly active users, starting the quarter with approximately 1.8K downloads and 7.8K active users and ending with around 186 downloads and 3.5K active users. Revenue also decreased from nearly $4K to about $1.7K.

NetEase Games' Identity V experienced a fluctuating quarter, with revenue initially decreasing to $942 but then rebounding to roughly $2.5K. Downloads peaked at 479 in late April but ended the quarter with around 359 downloads. Weekly active users showed resilience, ending the quarter with an increase to approximately 3.6K.

Myths of Moonrise from StarFortune had a stable quarter, with weekly active users growing from 6.9K to 7.7K. Downloads remained relatively consistent, peaking at 1.5K, and revenue saw an uptick in June, closing at about $1.1K.

Behaviour Interactive's Dead by Daylight Mobile showed a steady increase in weekly active users, from 12.4K to 13.3K by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a significant jump to 536 in the last week, and revenue had a slight rise, ending at $244.

Lastly, DreamPlus Games' Game of Vampire: Twilight Sun had a mixed quarter. The game's revenue saw a rebound in the final week to $450, but downloads dropped to zero for a few weeks, ultimately rising to 538. Weekly active users experienced a dip, falling to 427 before recovering to nearly 800 by the quarter's end.
